For Redman Tank Site Altitude Vault Improvements The following additions and/or changes are hereby made to the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents previously issued for the subject project. Drawing Sheet CU402 Scheduling and Sequence of Work, change to read: Upon receiving all materials from the Vendor/ Supplier (FOB destination, City of Ruidoso Downs, 102 Mystery Drive, Ruidoso Downs, NM 88316); 1. Owner to locate the existing copper sensing line to the connection point at the Redman Tank, excavate and expose the existing supply line on each side of the existing concrete vault. 2. Owner to coordinate draining the Redman Tank and disengaging the booster pumps to complete the following: - Install new HDPE pressure sending line from the Redman Tank to the existing concrete vault (anticipated to consist of a new saddle, corporation stop and curb box). Close the corporation stop. - Remove existing altitude valve, existing hand wheel isolation valves, existing pressure sensing line and existing supply line to a distance of two feet (2') on each side of the existing concrete vault. Protrusions through the existing concrete vault will need to be made around the existing supply line so that it can be removed. - Install two (2) new 6-inch isolation valves on the existing supply line, one (1) on each side of the existing concrete vault. - Install new 6-inch ductile iron (11 to 12-feet +-) supply line through the opening created by removing the existing piping and connect the new ductile iron pipe to each of the new 6-inch isolation valves. - Grout the annular space between the new ductile iron supply line and walls of the existing concrete vauReturn water to service and fill the Redman Tank www.decnm.com Socorro, NM 575-835-0604 The following additions and/or changes are hereby made to the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents previously issued for the subject project.
