General work description: The work in general consists of replacing the existing Iowa City Bridge over Jack Slough with a new reinforced concrete bridge, placing aggregate base, placing hot mix asphalt, installing guardrail, placing rock slope protection, and traffic striping. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the standard specifications or these special provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Contract goal is 13 percent. Question Submission Deadline:May 16, 2022, 2:00pm Question Response Deadline:May 17, 2022, 2:00pm For the Federal training program, the number of trainees or apprentices is 0. Complete the work within 95 working days. No pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for this project Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
