Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Streetsboro, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
As of June 15, 2023, this project broke ground. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction completion has not been established; however, the building is anticipated to be open by summer 2024. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. A detailed scope has not been released. The design- expanding the structure to 7,400 square feet, including an event space that will seat up to 150 people when set up with tables and chairs. The space also can be divided into three rooms for day-to-day activities. The facility includes a back porch that overlooks the wooded area behind it, which will include a fire pit. The City of Streetsboro, Portage County, Ohio is soliciting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from professional teams for the architectural design and engineering of Streetsboro's future Community Center Building. The RFQ can be located on the City's website. The RFQ and any questions can be directed to Greg Mytinger at the Parks and Recreation Department at gmytinger@cityofstreetsboro.com, Melissa Procop in the Mayor's Office at mprocop@cityofstreetsboro.com or by phone at 330-626-4942. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
