The Township of Algonquin Highlands is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the resurfacing of the Stanhope Tennis Court at 1095 North Shore Road, Algonquin Highlands ON, K0M 1J1. The Township owns and maintains an asphalt surface tennis court located at 1095 North Shore Road, Algonquin Highlands ON K0M 1J1. There are two courts located within one enclosed space, the space measures 108ft in width and 121ft in length. This court is quite popular, being used daily by a tennis club from May to October. The court was last resurfaced in 2010 with a lift of asphalt and geo-mesh. The court has a number of cracks throughout that the township has maintained with a crack filler annually since 2015. Since that time, the cracks have increased in number and continue to grow in length and width each year. In 2021 the court finish started to come loose, is lifting up and allowing water/ice beneath it. The purpose of this call for proposals is to seek a complete 'turn-key' solution for the resurfacing of the court. Proposal submissions should include all aspects of the project from start to finish. The finished product will be a resurfaced court that is ready to be played on. The total amount budgeted for this project is $50,000
