Sealed bids to be filed with the Escambia County School District in the office of Facilities Planning, Room 158; 30 East Texar Drive, Pensacola, FL 32503, will be publicly opened and evaluated by the Escambia County School District in the Conference Room located in Facilities Planning on the date and times listed below for the construction of the following project: Bellview, Brown Barge and Warrington Middle Schools Exterior Coatings Project. PLEASE NOTE, A complete list of subcontractors to be used for these proje1cts shall be submitted within twenty-four (24) hours after the bid date and time listed above to the Office of Facilities Planning, 30 East Texar Dr., Room 158, Pensacola, FL 32503. Attention: M. Keith Wasdin, Director. Only bids from Pre-qualified Contractors will be accepted. Any bid received after the above-mentioned date and time will not be considered. The Owner reserves the right to waive formalities in the bidding and reject any/and or all bids. Bid award recommendations to the Board are pending subject to final review and verification of required documents. The Project Schedule is as follows:
1. Anticipated Notice To Proceed date: June 15, 2022
2. Substantial Completion date (52 days): August 5, 2022
3. Final Completion date (30): September 4 2022 Exterior work to include cleaning, repair, preparations and mineral staining and painting of the exterior pre-cast and poured-in-place concrete surfaces and cleaning of the exterior brick foundation walls and concrete steps / ramps and landings at three school locations: Brown Barge Middle School building 4, Bellview Middle school building 7, and Warrington Middle school building 5.
