2022 Pump Station Improvements - General (Contract No. 1) and Electrical (Contract No. 2) Requests for clarification are due Monday, May 16, 2022 5:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. The members of the Abbottstown Paradise Joint Sewer Authority have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Authority. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Abbottstown Paradise Joint Sewer Authority in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules, and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Contract Time for this project is one hundred eighty (180) calendar days. Abbottstown Paradise Joint Sewer Authority reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
