Miller Construction Management, Inc., on behalf Florida Polytechnic University, is currently pre-qualifying any firm who wishes to submit a proposal for all trades for the Florida Polytechnic Admissions Center Improvements. The project is located at 4700 Research Way in Lakeland, FL 33805 and consist generally of interior improvements to the existing 2,162 SF Admissions Center at Florida Polytechnic University. The scope of work shall include, without limitation: miscellaneous selective demolition, cabinetry and countertops, hollow metal doors and frames, wood slat screen system, metal stud framing, drywall, interior painting, porcelain floor and wall tile, carpet tile, vinyl base, suspended wood slat ceilings, suspended acoustical ceilings, toilet and bathroom accessories, fire sprinkler protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fire alarm. Only prequalified firms will be allowed to provide bids. To prequalify, contractors will need to send all company information, W-9, certificate of insurance listing Miller Construction Management and Owner, and their affiliates as additional insured in respect to general liability insurance, and waiver of subrogation to bids@millerconstructionmanagement.com. Approved bidders will be notified via email of bid documents. M/WBE participation is strongly encouraged.
