Professional Landscape Architectural services requested for the renovations at Spring Hill Park. The City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Works, working with the beneficial input of community partners, requests proposals from qualified landscape architectural firms for park infrastructure upgrades to Spring Hill Park. The park is located in the neighborhood of Spring Hill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and serves the adjacent neighborhoods of Spring Garden and Northview Heights. Spring Hill Park is a 6.42-acre site with recreational amenities including a playground, dek hockey court, diamond field and associated concession stand/field house. The site is unique in that it connects to City's Greenway system. The trails that utilize the Greenway edge are largely informal, lacking signage and trail maintenance and are subsequently underutilized by the already limited number of park patrons. Because of the site's unique geographic location, it will also play an important role in source reduction of stormwater management.
