No definite date for the rebid.** This project consists in the replacement of the existing pavement on a segment of Old Tucson Road approximately 1850 feet south of north City Limits. The proposed pavement cross-section is 28 feet wide with a layout of 7-inch asphalt concrete over 18 aggregate base course. The estimated asphalt pavement replacement area is 52,010 SF (5,778 SY). This project includes improvements of road shoulders with a layer of 16-inch aggregate base course obtained from the excavation of the existing 8 ABC under the asphalt layer (8 feet to the west side and 5 feet to the east side). This project will also include the adjustment of two existing manhole covers and the striping of the road per striping plans. The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, services, transportation and perform all the work for the City s project known as Old Tucson Road pavement replacement for City of Nogales, Arizona as called for in the plans/specifications. The proposer should prepare a detailed time schedule for completion. All bid security shall be made payable, without condition, to the City of Nogales. Said bid security shall be considered liquidated damages and shall be forfeited to the City of Nogales in the event the Bid is accepted and the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within ten (10) workings days after the notice of bid award.
