Special Access Equipment, Bucket Type Under Bridge Inspection Unit for Consultant and State Inspection Teams The selected Subcontractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, and equipment for the Special Access - Bucket Type Bridge Inspection Units for the 2022-2023 Biennial and Interim Inspection of Bridges in NYSDOT Region 5, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties in the State of New York. The required equipment will assist Lu Engineers and New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) personnel, or their authorized designee, with the inspection of said bridges. All work, equipment and procedures shall meet as a minimum, the requirements of the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Standard Specifications, MUTCD, regulations, directives, guidelines, policies, procedures, manuals and all applicable laws. The project duration is from the beginning of the Contract anticipated in April 2022 until April 31, 2024. It should be noted that the majority of the work will be performed from April through December in 2022 & April through December in 2023 with minimum or uncertain amount of work anticipated in early 2023 &2024. Lu Engineers has a prime contract with the NYSDOT, Contract No. D038195. All applicable provisions of the prime contract apply to the subcontract. Lu Engineers reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, to invite for new bid proposals and to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bids. Contractors will be allowed only one representative to attend the Bid Opening. A video conference for bid opening will also be scheduled for responding bidders. If you will not participate in the video conference for bid opening, you must decline in writing (email). Attendance of the bid opening by a representative from each of the prospective bidders is encouraged but not mandatory. A representative of NYSDOT may be present. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 24 months The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
