Provide & Install 2" steel ice dam at SUNY Geneseo's Wilson Ice Arena. Work to include the following: o Rink size (85' x 200' with 28' radius corners) o Contractor to survey and reuse existing anchors from current dasher board system o Ice dam to be constructed using 6" x 8.2lb/ft steel channel o Steel channel to be hot dip galvanized after fabrication o 1/2" x 2" yellow polyethylene kickplate to be attached to ice side face o Each ice dam section shall include a double set of 5/8" threaded inserts for anchoring dasher board panels (one primary and one for backup) o Provide new fasteners for attaching ice dam to concrete slab o Steel around entire ice dam to prevent water penetration o Provide eight (8) 2" high x 24" wide x 10' long poly ramps to access both inside and outside the rink o Pricing to include all labor and expenses to install ice dam, including removal and reinstallation of existing dasher board system. All prices shall include shipping cost to project site. Working hours should be Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 3:30pm. NYS Prevailing Wage Rates apply (PRC #: 2022004536). The awarded vendor must send certified payrolls with their invoice. NYS Worker's Compensation Law, Sections 57 and 220, requires State Agencies to ensure, PRIOR to entering into any contract (including purchase orders), that the intended vendor has appropriate NYS workers compensation and disability insurance coverage. The awarded company for this project will be required to provide documentation to evidence they are in compliance with this requirement. SUNY Geneseo intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355(5)(a), which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity/product or service.
