Site work and outdoor lighting for a road / highway in Arviat, Nunavut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
For Replacement of Streetlights with LED under Phase-III, including Material Procurement & Installation in Three (3) Communities (Arviat, Pangnirtung & Kimmirut). QEC in partnership with the Government of Nunavut will use part of the revenues it receives from the carbon tax to install LED lightbulbs in streetlights across the territory. This capital project proposed to change out all communities incandescent street lights with LED street lights through external resources (Contractor). There are three (3) communities that has been selected for this project, which consist of: Arvit (Project number: 603-5816), Pangnirtung (Project number: 702-5817) & Kimmirut (Project number: 709-5818).
