**As of June 6, 2022, this project has been awarded to Joseph McCormick Construction and the awarded amount is $3,924,877.40 (Base Bid + Alternate 1)** Bidders shall submit with their bid, evidence of qualifications meeting the requirements of General Provisions 20-02. PennDOT prequalification is an acceptable form of evidence. If PennDOT prequalification is submitted, work classifications of F and H shall be required to be provided by the Bidder or Bidders subcontractor(s). These subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder. There is a (5.8%) percent DBE requirement for this project. Bidders will submit a proposal guaranty in the form of a proposal bond in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the bid amount. The proposal guaranty shall be made payable to Erie International Airport. If the selected contractor fails to provide the required materials and/or execute the contract within fifteen (15) days after being furnished with the necessary contract and bond forms, the proposal guaranty will be forfeited to the Sponsor. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory 100 percent performance bond as well as labor and material bond. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of Sixty (60) calendar days. Bids will be evaluated for determination of Low Bidder based on the total amount of Base Bid and Alternative 1 Combined. Erie International Airport reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bids or bid, should it consider same to be in its best interest. This project consists of rehabilitation of the airport asphalt general aviation apron. Multiple rehabilitation methods are utilized in various areas and include milling and asphalt repaving as well as full depth reclamation and asphalt paving. Included in this project is asphalt milling, full depth reclamation, storm sewer installation, base course grading and compaction, asphalt paving, airfield electrical and pavement marking. The project shall be complete and ready for final inspection within Eighty-Two (82) calendar days from the effective date of Notice-to-Proceed.
