In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owners will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owners will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. All bids must be signed. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of (5) percent of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Owners as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. DESCRIPTION: The Filer and Buhl Highway Districts Asphalt Material Supply Only is for approximately 6950 tons of Superpave material to be supplied to the Filer and Buhl Highway Districts with the option to purchase additional materials at this bid price if requested on or before September 1, 2022.
