The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the project and to answer any questions potential Contractors may have. This pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, but attendance is strongly recommended. No meetings or tours to review the Scope of Work for the project will be held individually or separately before or after this pre-bid meeting. The deadline for questions is Friday May 27, 2022 at 4:00 pm Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the Owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the Owner in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional Bond(s) as described in the Bidding Documents The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 240 days, and the time allowed for Final Completion and readiness for final payment is 270 days from the date of commencement.
