As of September 2025, the project is in design. Contractor bidding is expected in the summer of 2026 and construction is expected to begin in November 2026. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. .................. UCLA requests a written response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select an Executive Architect for the proposed UCLA BSRB B60 ABSL3 Lab Remodel (Project # 907517.01). The building is a 5-story building with a basement and is mainly steel and concrete. The proposed project would renovate the lab in the basement level (Suite B60) from an ABSL2 to an ABSL3 lab.
