As of June 27, 2022, project has not been awarded and no timeline of award was established. solicitation - 2020-01372 The Stanislaus Regional Housing Authority (Authority) is a public agency, formed under the United States Housing Act of 1937, charged with providing decent, safe and affordable housing for low-income persons The Authority is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors (Contractor) to build 8 units; all items included in the Architectural Plans for 1143 Park St located in Turlock, CA The Contractor shall obtain all required approvals and permitting through the local governing agency, fees shall be paid by the Authority. All local, state and federal codes and regulations shall be followed by the Contractor. Local Permit fees will be paid by the Authority. Site Description The project is located at 1143 Park Street in Turlock, California. A vicinity map is provided as Figure 1. The project site is currently covered by two existing residential structures and vacant property. One structure is located near the south end of the site and the other structure is located near the central, northern portion of the site. The existing structures appear to be single-story, slab-on-grade and/or raised floor structures. An asphalt concrete driveway covers the west end of the site and provides parking around the structure to the north. An existing below-grade pool is located just north of the southern structure and is surrounded by concrete flatwork. The area between the pool and northern structure and north of the northern structure are vacant land that were covered in grasses at the time of our field exploration. The house to the south is partially surrounded by a masonry wall and there appears to be a detached garage just northwest of the existing pool. A concrete driveway provides access to the southern structure from the asphalt concrete drive isle to the west and from Park Street to the south. The entire property is surrounded by wooden fencing. The site is relatively flat across the entire site. Topographic information available using Google Earth software indicates the existing ground surface elevation at the site is about +98 feet relative to mean sea level.
