Due to increasing IT demands to support online educational delivery, Colorado Mesa University must update existing HVAC systems to keep up with the increased heat load within server rooms. This project will involve the replacement of the air conditioning units, including indoor evaporators and outdoor condensing units for the Wubben Hall Server Room. Scope of Services The selected contractors will be required to demo existing air conditioning equipment and coordinate new equipment installation to ensure that cooling is provided to the server room at all times. Contractor is responsible for coordinating all Fire Alarm requirements with Fire Alarm Contractor to integrate new control of the combination fire/smoke dampers and is also responsible to install the proposed solution of the de-energizing of the UPS's and Main Breaker by a pressure transducer switch installed in the FM200 distribution pipe. Contractor shall be responsible for providing equipment with BACNet IP/SNMP/MODBUS TCP-IP Ethernet Comm Card. All equipment is required to have factory controls to provide full functionality of the equipment to provide cooling to the server room. Any and all work done to the roof is to be in conformance with the manufacturer's requirements to maintain the roof warranty. All penetrations of the roof membrane are to be made in strict accordance with the roof membrane manufacturer's details. Refer to CMU Wubben Hall Server HVAC Drawings attached for further details.
