The Scope of Work for Fire Training Tower Refurbishment is described below. The work is broken out into a Base Bid and Additive Alternate. The Fire Department desires for all of the work to be completed, but the City reserves the right to award based on either the "Base Bid Total" or "Base Bid + Additive Alternate Total" depending on the availability of funds. See attached original plans. Contractor is responsible to provide refurbishment of the Fire Training Tower in this scope of work, including all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment necessary to complete the Work. Base Bid: 1. Burn room lining System for Annex Burn Room (remove and replace) 2. Burn room lining System for 2nd Floor Burn Room (remove and replace) 3. Brush Seal and Spring Closures for all burn rooms 4. 6- 4x4 Westtemp panels for overhead and 1 door 5. Contractor acknowledges that the documents included with this Contract Agreement are complete and represent the design intent. As such, the bid total pricing included with this Contract Agreement is firm and reflects the work required for complete refurbishment of the Fire Training Tower and associated work in accordance with the intent of the Contract Documents and is not subject to change. 6. The specific items included as part of this scope of work are listed for emphasis only and are not intended to limit the scope of work in any way. 7. The Work of this contract is hereby further clarified and defined. In accordance with the nature of this contract, this clarification does not relieve the Contractor from providing all elements of a complete system that conforms to the requirements of the Contract Documents. It is the Contractor's responsibility, based on their expertise and knowledge of the work, to include all items, materials, and procedures necessary to complete the execution of the work that, although not shown, can be reasonably inferred to be a part of the work. 8. Contractor is responsible to supply and install all work in accordance with all applicable codes and manufacturer and industry standards. 9. Contractor's price includes: a. All taxes associated with this scope of work; b. All salaried and field personnel required to complete the work; c. All permits required for this work; and d. Contractor acknowledges that multiple mobilizations may be required and has accounted for all costs in the lump sum price. 10. Contractor is responsible for all material handling required to perform this scope of work. 11. Contractor shall coordinate delivery of material with the Project Schedule and the City. Contractor shall properly store all materials and equipment per the manufacturer's recommendations in the event that materials or equipment are delivered prematurely. 12. Contractor is responsible for all field measurements required to complete all installations. 13. Contractor is responsible for all layout required to complete all installations.
