The nature of the project focuses on a new playground and associated site work. Existing Playground Equipment Demolition Existing Playground Equipment Salvage Pendleton Avenue Sidewalk Replacement Installation of Landscape Plantings 1. General: Contractor shall be responsible for the construction of a new playground at the existing playground including but not limited to removal of existing playground and site features, installation of new sidewalks, playground equipment, playground surfacing, drainage improvements, and plantings. 2. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining public access to surrounding street thrutraffic. Interruptions of traffic shall be planned in advance with Town representatives and organized to the City's satisfaction. 3. Base Bid: The Work includes all construction improvements as depicted and described in the construction plans and specifications, including required maintenance periods. Alternate Bids (if any) are described on the Bid Form. Note that the Town desires all improvements shown in the drawings and specifications to be executed, including alternates.
