The OCFA EMS/WEFIT Department oversees all fitness equipment owned and operated by OCFA, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance. Due to the heavy utilization rates of the equipment used by OCFA personnel and staff, regular maintenance and repair is required to ensure proper equipment condition and function. The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract for the maintenance and repair of fitness equipment at all OCFA fire stations and RFOTC. The basic requirements include all functions, fluids, and mechanical parts necessary to conduct maintenance and repair to ensure all equipment is in proper and safe working condition. The selected vendor will work directly with the WEFIT coordinator on each specific job as the need arises. The WEFIT department is located at the Regional Fire Operational Training Center, 1 Fire Authority Road, Irvine, California 92602. This request is not a one-time delivery. Services will be ordered on an as-needed or on a scheduled basis. The successful contractor will provide maintenance and repair services as specified including all personnel, labor, supervision, materials, tools and equipment required to maintain the equipment located at OCFA's fire stations and the RFOTC. The list of Fire Stations and addresses are provided as Exhibit L. The successful vendor(s) will perform maintenance and repair services at OCFA fire stations as based on manufacturer schedules and as requested by OCFA WEFIT Department. OCFA has an inventory of approximately three hundred fifty (350) pieces of equipment at various fire stations that may need maintenance and repair.
