Renovation of a day care center in Jackson, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a day care center.
Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and have a Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder, or a certified bid bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed by the State of Mississippi and signed by an agent resident in Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount. A complete copy of the Plans and Specifications may be inspected at the office of the Architect: M3A Architecture, PLLC, William L. McElroy AIA, NCARB, 4880 McWillie Circle, Jackson, MS 39206, 601-981-1227. Bidders shall comply with the Presidents Executive Order Numbers 11246 and 11375 which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act and the Davis Bacon Act. Bidders shall furnish a certification of prior work under Executive Order 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity). Contract award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and Hinds County Human Resource Agency reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
