Renovation of a water / sewer project in Fort Rupert, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The District of Port Hardy is requesting quotations for the installation of an emergency power generator kiosk at the Fort Rupert School Lift station. This project includes the following: Installation of generator, automatic transfer switch into a new kiosk. Kiosk and slab to be supplied by the District. Specifications and drawings to be provided to interested parties. Removal of existing control kiosk and concrete slab, final disposal by District. Install new kiosk cabinet and install the new control panel and all other required existing panels. Kiosk to include circuits for a generator block heater, battery charger, small ceramic heater and a spare. Kiosk LED lighting to also be installed with on/off switch. Co-ordinate with BC Hydro for power disconnection/reconnection of site power. Prepare a plan to keep the station functional using the Districts tow behind generator to power lift station pumps while work is being undertaken. Allow for time in the budget for discussion of kiosk and kiosk pad sizing, pump control panel planning prior to commencing.
