Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rialto, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Rialto Unified School District of San Bernardino County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as District, is seeking sealed proposals in response to Request for Proposals Boardroom Technology Upgrades. AWARD OF CONTRACT: The award of the Contract will be on a best value evaluation method as outlined in the Districts proposal documents. Time is of the essence. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the proposal evaluation process. No proposer may withdraw any proposal for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for the opening of the proposals. REQUIRED BID SECURITY: Each proposal must be submitted with bid security as described in the Instructions for Proposers. SURETY BONDS: As described in the General Conditions, the successful proposer must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract Price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. LABOR LAW: The Project is a public work that is subject to, among other laws, Labor Code Sections 1720 through 1861, inclusive. As described in the General Conditions, each contractor (including subcontractors) must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) in accordance with Labor Code Section 1725.5, and bidders must provide evidence of registration for themselves and their subcontractors. Each worker on the Project must be paid not less than the applicable prevailing rates of per-diem wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the Contract (Prevailing Wages). A copy of the applicable rates of Prevailing Wages is on file and available for review at the Place for Submitting Bids, and a copy will be posted at the Project Site. The Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The successful Proposer will be required to post all job-site notices required by DIR regulations and other applicable law.
