Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents shall be submitted in writing to Holly Leahy, Lebanon County MH/ID/EI, no later than Monday, May 16, 2022 at 4 pm. Contact information is provided within the bid documents. Interpretations or clarifications will be addressed by Addenda, to be distributed electronically to registered bidders. This project will be bid to a single prime contractor, and the work will be paid in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Rate determinations are included in the project manual. Each bidder will be required to include a bid security in the amount of 10% of total bid with bid submission. The successful contract will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds covering the full performance of the project and contract amount. Cost of bonds shall be included in the Contract Sum. The amount of each bond shall be equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. Bids must be held by the Owner and not withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after receipt of bids. Modifications to bids will not be accepted and may result in disqualification. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids or reject all bids. The Owner reserves the right to modify the Contract Documents, and re-bid the project if necessary, to meet the Owner's budgetary requirements or to enter into negotiations with any bidder.
