Site work for a water / sewer project in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: o This project consists of rehabilitation of approximately 3,889 linear feet of 54-inch and 454 linear feet of 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe and the associated manhole structures. The project extents consists of eight (8) manholes scheduled for rehabilitation and one (1) new 8-foot diameter manhole. The owner will evaluate award of two (2) additive alternates each consisting of an additional segment. Also included are cleaning and pre-construction CCTV of the proposed pipes scheduled for rehabilitation as well as other necessary appurtenances and surface restoration, Proposals shall be accompanied by either a Bid Bond or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than 5% of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to BAMA as a guarantee that the bidder will, within 10 days after notice of award, enter into a Contract and furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond upon the forms provided, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, from a surety licensed to conduct business in Oklahoma and named in the current list of "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds" as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Audit Staff Bureau of Accounts, U.S. Treasury Department. The surety for the Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall have an "A" minimum rating of performance and a financial rating strength of five times the Contract Price, al as stated in the current "Best's Key Rating Guide, Property-Liability." Each Bond shall be accompanied by a "Power of Attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the Bond and furnish the required bonds according to the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. BAMA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept or reject any formalities. Award shall be made to the responsive, responsible bidder; however, BAMA reserves the right, after evaluation of all bids received, to make no recommendation to BAMA regarding the award of any bid in the event non-responsive, non-conforming, or otherwise unacceptable bids are received, or if budgetary constraints or other unanticipated factors exist. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of one hundred twenty (120) days from the date bids are opened. BAMA reserves the right to award the Contract on the basis of the Bid and to consider other factors as described in the documents associated with this invitation. BAMA reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Conditional bids shall not be accepted.
