In order to implement fast electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure on its property, and to develop landside area convenience services for Airport users and the local community (subject to applicable Federal law and regulation), San Francisco International Airport (SFO or Airport) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify firms that can finance, develop, maintain, and operate one or both of the following facilities: Responses to the RFI are non-binding. The goal of the RFI is to obtain information about market demand, the viability of the proposed location, and how strong the alignment is between demand and available space. This RFI is to be used solely for the purposes of industry review, and the Airport assumes no responsibility for any other use of this document. The Airport is operated by the San Francisco Airport Commission (the "Airport Commission") as an enterprise department of the City and County of San Francisco ( the "City"). Located just 14 miles south of downtown San Francisco, SFO is the major commercial airport for the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. The Airport is a major center for both domestic and international traffic. San Francisco is the largest airport in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Northern California, and the second busiest airport in the state of California. Issue a Request for Proposals or Request for Qualifications; 4. Prior to submission deadline for Responses, modify all or any portion of the RFI procedures, including deadlines for accepting Responses, the specifications or requirements for any materials, equipment or services to be provided under this RFI, or the requirements for contents or format of the Responses; 5. Procure any materials, equipment or services specified in this RFI by any other means; or 6. Determine that no project will be pursued.
