All construction service are necessary to provide cleaning, general preparation, resetting/adjusting of utility casting, installation of utility risers, pavement milling, installation of an ultra-thin bonded overlay and all other specified & incidental work on bituminous concrete roadway. SCOPE OF WORK The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, all construction services necessary to provide cleaning, general preparation, resetting/adjusting of utility castings, installation of utility risers, pavement milling, installation of an ultra-thin bonded overlay - Standard grade binder and all other specified and incidental work on bituminous concrete roadways. The Contractor is further advised that this work will involve extensive traffic control measures and coordination with the Town. Also includes reasonable protection of roadside features including raised crosswalks as outlined in the Supplemental Specifications. The work to be completed under this contract is located on multiple roadways. Work shall be completed based on a schedule as determined by the Engineer on a day-to-day basis. All work under this contract shall be done in conformance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges dated 2021, Massachusetts Department of Transportation Construction Standard Details dated October 2017, the latest Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways with Massachusetts Amendments, the latest Public-Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), and the latest United States Access Board's ADA and ABA accessibility guidelines.
