Renovation of an educational facility in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of August 22, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. This project involves the demolition and replacement of (3) chilled and hot water variable air volume air handling units and (3) ducted variable air volume return fans. Selective demolition of existing chilled/hot water piping, ductwork, and controls systems shall be required to facilitate the removal and installation of the new air handling systems. New ductwork, piping, and controls components shall as required for a complete and fully functional system. New air handling units are to be shipped split for rigging through the existing mechanical room roof hatch. Existing concrete equipment shall be extended by the Masonry Subcontractor to support the new air handling equipment footprint (Refer to Specification Section 03300). The new air handling equipment shall be provided with all required controls components as required to perform existing sequence of operation by the ATC Subcontractor. Town reserves right to reject any & all bids, waive informalities & award in its best interest. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate liquidated damages in the amount of $100.00 per calendar day The Contractor shall commence work under this contract as soon as possible and must obtain Substantial Completion of all Scope of Work no later than for Longmeadow High School Air Handler Replacement no later than August 17, 2023, the Substantial Completion Date
