Site work and paving for a road / highway in Freeport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

All bids must be checked in by the City Clerk's office prior to bid time. Any bidder attempting to deliver after the opening time and date will be refused. The Project consists of the removal of HMA pavement on Countryside Lane and Manor Street, and the preparation of base for subsequent paving operations. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Fehr Graham 101 West Stephenson Street Freeport, IL 61032 Paul D. Ertmer, Sr. Project Engineer pertmer@fehrgraham.com Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project, but questions can be given to Engineer until five (5) days prior to bid opening. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set for in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The City of Freeport reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the biddings. Bids may be held by the City of Freeport for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids. By submitting a bid, each bidder expressly agrees and promises that he/she/it will comply with all applicable ordinances, statutes and regulations, including but not limited to, the equal employment and affirmative action provisions pertaining to public contracts by Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act (codified as Paragraph 2-105 of Chapter 775 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, as amended).
