In general, the Project consists of: Western Technical College - Sparta Public Training Center: In the Base Bid; Provide a 300 KW/375KVA Diesel Emergency Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch as noted on the drawings and specifications. Provide a concrete pad sized and constructed as recommended by manufacturer. Locate adjacent to existing Well Pump/Garage building. This emergency generator shall feed an existing 60 HP, 208VAC, 3-Phase Fire pump only. Upgrade the existing 400 amp., 120/208VAC, 3-phase, 4-Wire electric service to 1,000 amps., 120/208VAC, 3-Phase, 4-Wire. Western Technical College - Apprenticeship Center: As an Alternate Bid E1; Provide a 30KW/38KVA natural gas emergency generator as noted on the drawings and as specified. Provide a concrete pad sized and constructed as recommended by manufacturer. This emergency generator is NOT connected to the building electrical systems, it is for instructional purposes only. Coordinate installation with Electrical Apprenticeship Program Instructor. Lump-sum Bids will be received on a SINGLE PRIME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE ENTIRE WORK. The Project Drawings, Project Manual and other Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations: (HSR is handling distribution of bidding documents only. Project communications and questions shall be directed to Galileo Consulting Services.) HSR Associates is responsible for distribution of addenda only to those who have requested project documents from HSR in formats described above. HSR Associates will make AutoCAD files available to the Contractor following award of contract. HSR Associates maintains a plan holder list at portal. This list includes only those who have requested plans from HSR and those who have requested to be added our list. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid as described in the Project Manual, Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all Bids. Bids may only be withdrawn in accordance with the Project Manual, Instructions to Bidder.
