No definite date for the rebid.** The Bids will be received for the following Contract: Whitpain Township 2022 Public Works Garage Addition Project The project involves the following Prime Contracts: 1. General Construction2. Plumbing Construction 3. Mechanical Construction4. Electrical Construction The following contract items are an Add. Alternate to the base bid: 1. Replacement of rear fence, sliding gate, motors, and operators as shown on sheet Bidders should note the strict requirements and deadlines for compliance with the Responsible Contractor Ordinance, as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders, including the requirements for Subcontractors. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, paragraph 14- Bid Submission. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Whitpain Township in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. Whitpain Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
