The Works will be carried out both above and below water level. The portion of the Works performed above and below water level will be dictated by the time period of the Works and the water levels observed at that time. The Works include, but are not limited to, the following: o Removal of vegetation cover and cleaning of the embankment; o Excavation, reshaping of the existing slope and preparation of the bedding for the new riprap; o Disposal of excess excavated materials; o Placement of new riprap, including the extension of the existing outfall. Work schedule: o The Contractor must plan the execution of the Works during a period of the year when it is anticipated that the water level of the St. Lawrence River will not be a disadvantage for the execution of the Works or for the MPA. o The Contractor must carry out the Works without interruption and must provide sufficient manpower and equipment so that all the Works to be carried out under the project are carried out within a period of 12 weeks after the first day of mobilization until the final cleaning of the site and demobilization. o The mobilization date will be set by mutual agreement between the MPA and the Contractor. The Contractor must complete all work no later than October 10, 2022.
