This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the "Board") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Teaching Kitchen Renovation at Limestone School of Community Education, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). An existing classroom is to be renovated into a teaching kitchen. Work includes a new suspended acoustic ceiling, new false wall, removal of millwork, painting, new cabinetry, plumbing to two new sinks, a dishwasher, a clothes dryer and two new range fume exhausts, dryer vent and return duct modifications to suit new ceiling. Additionally, electrical feeding two new ranges, two new fume hoods, dishwasher, dryer, clothes washer, new lighting, two new refrigerators and new receptacles. An Existing Laboratory is to be renovated into a traditional classroom. Work includes a new suspended acoustic ceiling, removal of mill work, removal of bulkhead, painting, infill of exterior penetrations, removal of HRV, removal of electric duct heating coil, removal of laboratory fume hood cabinet, removal of associated exhaust duct, removal of laboratory sinks and associated plumbing and modifications to return duct to suit new ceiling. Electrical work includes new lighting and disconnecting of removed HVAC equipment. An existing Kindergarten room is to be renovated and divided. Work includes new partition wall, removal of floor mounted outlets and data, new door to service separated room by creating opening in existing block wall and the extension of return duct to service original room and new room that has been partitioned off.
