Renovation of a mixed-use development in Marinette, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of 07/25/2022 No start and end date. Marinette County owns the buildings and grounds of the UW Green Bay Marinette Campus. We are working with campus staff to complete various improvements at the Theater on the Bay. One of the phases of this is to upgrade the currently installed Audio/Visual system. This will enhance the visitor experience and provide better communications for Theater staff. Notwithstanding any other provisions of the RFB, Marinette County reserves the right to reject any or all proposal submissions, to waive any irregularity or informality in a submission, and to accept or reject any item or a combination of items when doing so would be to the advantage of Marinette County or its taxpayers. It is further within the right of Marinette County to reject submissions that do not contain all elements and information requested in this document. Marinette County shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the consultant making the proposal throughout this process. The cost of preparing a response to this RFP is not reimbursable in part or in whole to the consultant. Any information received will become the property of Marinette County and a matter of public record. Any proprietary material or information should be marked and submitted as a supplement to the overall qualifications to allow the County to protect the information as warranted. PROJECT SCOPE The overall scope of work for this project focuses on audio quality and even coverage as well as an upgrade to a digital infrastructure that follows industry best practices and design efficiency. By replacing and upgrading several A/V systems within the PAC, the owner will be able to run events and interact with the facility in a manner that is more on par with contemporary university PAC's. 1.2 SYSTEMS DESCRIPTIONS A. A new digital 48 channel mixing console will be installed in the light booth location with a digital stage I/O box for use at multiple stage locations. Additionally, new front fill and delay speakers, new wireless microphone system, new digital signal processing, new power sequencing, new touch panel control system, wire management/wire pull/custom I/O plates, and new amplifiers will round out the audio system. The system will also include a wireless theatrical intercom system that will include 8 belt packs and a main base station for the booth. This system can be utilized by both lighting and sound techs during a production. The existing projector and existing projection screen will be optimized, re-mounted and re-aimed, a new PTZ camera paired with system control, multi-presets view of stage, and streaming device to the existing network, digital presentation video switching with stage and F.O.H. digital video inputs, audio and video distribution to green rooms, music rooms, and dressing rooms will be provided as well.
