Anyone wishing to submit a bid must read by- law number 7-2020 on contract management, on the delegation of powers to certain officials and on the rules of budget control and monitoring , available on the City's website, and comply with them at all times, failing which his bid may be rejected or the contract awarded terminated by operation of law by the City if non-compliance is discovered after the award of the contract. Tenderers must obtain the tender documents from the electronic tendering system approved by the Government of Quebec (SEAO ) www.seao.ca. The City reserves the right to remove from the contract certain parts of the work, equipment or services required under this call for tenders, without the tenderer being able to withdraw his tender or raise the prices submitted. Ville de La Pocatière does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received. It declines any responsibility with regard to one or the other of the tenderers in the event of rejection of all the tenders. The contract is awarded by decision of the municipal council, at its sole discretion, and the City cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its council. Bid Bond 10% is required.
