Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Oakdale, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of complete restoration of the historic Tin Ceiling at the BOCES Room including, but not limited to the following: Selective demolition, removals, and salvage New formed sheet metal ceiling panels New formed sheet metal crown moldings New formed sheetmetal rope moldings Skylight restoration Painting New lightfixtures and related wiring Funding for this project comes in part through a Consolidated Funding Application grant administered by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP). Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MBE and WBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. The following goals have been set for this project: 13% of the contract value for MBE, and 17% of the contract value for WBE. All bidders must submit with their bids an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policy statement and an MBE/WBE Utilization Plan. The Friends of Connetquot reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Incomplete bids will not be accepted.
