The Project consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of two (2) accessible restrooms in existing classrooms, an overlay gymnasium flooring replacement, miscellaneous sitework, and asbestos flooring abatement in two classrooms. Construction shall begin on or about 20 June 2022 and shall be substantially completed on or before 31 August 2022. Registered Bidders must submit substitution requests or any questions concerning the project to the Architect on Form 006001 BIDDER REQUEST FOR INFORMATION included in the Project Manual no later than 1:00 PM 13 May 2022. The Architect will not respond to questions received by those other than Prime Bidders.The HAINESPORT TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION has the right to award the contracts within sixty (60) days of the bid opening and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any non-material defects, as may be permitted by law. Bidders are advised that the District reserves the right to cancel this Project at any time due to any unforeseen circumstances that arise in connection with any Public Health Emergency and funding related to same. By submitting a bid, Prime Bidders waive, on behalf of themselves and their Subcontractors, any potential claim for increased costs, loss of profits, delay damages, or other similar consequential and direct damages incurred due to the District's Termination of the Project for Convenience. Pre-Bid Meeting:NONE Prime Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Department of Property and Management Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bids submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualified/Classification Certificate and New Jersey Department of Labor Contractor Registration Certificate may be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements.
