The City of West Richland is soliciting a Letter of Interest and Statement of Qualification from consulting engineering firms interested in providing professional municipal engineering services for the following projects SR 224/Red Mountain Transportation Improvements Project. The following expertise and experience will be required: intersection design; landscaping; geotechnical evaluations; federal environmental documentation and permitting; storm drainage design; structural retaining walls and irrigation canals; and public Involvement; project closeout documentation all in accordance with FHWA and WSDOT Local Agency Guidelines. The City reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent tasks (Illumination design; subsurface utility exploration; and construction inspection) associated with this project. The funding for this project includes Federal Funds and Connecting Washington Funds which are being administered through the Washington State Department of Transportation. This project has a mandatory DBE agreement goal of 13%. The City of West Richland reserves the right to amend terms of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.
