Site work for a water / sewer project in Torrance, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The estimated cost range is $3,500,000 - $3,700,000. The 2012 National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit defined 85% Storm Event capture as a method for the City of Torrance to fully comply with the 2012 NPDES Permit. The original Stormwater Basin Enhancement Project was completed before the 2012 NPDES Permit and only captures up to a 50% Storm Event. The City of Torrance is proposing the Stormwater Basin Expansion Project to expand the Henrietta and Entradero Storm Water Basins to capture and infiltrate that 85% storm in order to comply with 2012 NPDES Permit.
