Jefferson Lab (JLab) is seeking sources to fabricate three 80K pre-coolers for the ElectronIon Collider Project at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) per the attached technical specification. Jefferson Lab is a nuclear physics research facility operated by Jefferson Science Associates LLC (JSA) under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy. JLab is issuing this RFI in order to gather budgetary numbers and anticipated lead times for planning and scheduling. It is anticipated that a package will be released as an official Request for Proposal (RFP) in the Spring of 2023 with an award in the Summer of 2023 depending on funding availability. It is intended that the RFP will be a best value supplier award selection.
