A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Monticello/Wayne County Industrial Development Authority, government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for the following: 1) 5% Bid Bond; and 2) A performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or the specifications and may waive any informalities or reject any and all Bids.
