Renovation of a military facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the construction of one (1) B-1 storage awning. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, parts, incidentals, consumables, transportation, and any other items necessary to provide the B-1 storage awning. The Contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services, parts and components provided under this contract are in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: 120 days ARO System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332311 with a size standard of 750 EMP. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through Beta.sam.gov at https://sam.gov/content/home. No telephone requests. See Note 22. Authority is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). For further information contact: Sheridan Robison Contracting Officer Sheridan.robison@us.af.mil The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. a) The Contractor shall provide and install one (1) new gabled 100'x 100' fabric canopy structure with one covered end (Covered end will be located on the North wall of the structure, open end will be the South side of the structure). b) The structure shall be designed and manufactured by the Contractor, and then installed by the Contractor at a storage area on the flight line located at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. c) The structure shall have open side walls with a height of 10 feet to 12 feet and a peak structure height of 30 feet to 40 feet. d) Fabric shall cover side walls down to 7 feet above ground on three sides. e) The structure shall be anchored to pre-existing Ramp concrete, which has a minimum thickness of 9 inches. f) The Contractor shall contain any concrete dust generated by drilled, jack hammered, cut, or other means of generating concrete dust through the use of wet methods or other dust capturing devices. g) The Contractor shall insure no dust or dirt enteres into facilities in the vicinity of Building 2211 located at Tinker Air Base, Oklahoma. h) The fabric of the structure shall meet the flame resistance requirements of Test Method 2 contained in NFPA 701, IAW UFC 3-600-01 Section 4-4.3.1. i) The fabric shall be of a durable construction, lasting a minimum of 20 years. j) The frame shall be constructed of steel and be protected against rust and corrosion. k) The entire structure shall be certified to handle all stresses and normal weather conditions present in Oklahoma City, OK. l) The Contractor shall be required to utilize proper fall protection measures during the installation of the structure.
