No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of La.R.S. 38:2214. Each bid will be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or Bid Bond payable to the Beauregard Parish Police Jury, the amount of which shall be 5 percent (5%) of the proposed base bid plus all alternates.
