Renovation of a recreation facility in Arlington, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
Project Scope Sand and edge maple gym floor with coarse, medium, fine, and extra fine sandpaper. Screen with 100 grit mesh screen discs. Vacuum and tack entire sanded floor. Apply 2 coats of Emulsion Wood Floor Sealer. Screen with 120 grit mesh screen discs. Vacuum and tack entire sanded floor. Tape game lines as existing. Apply 2 coats of water-based enamel paint to taped areas. Furnish stencils and paint graphics and lettering, to be determined. Changes in lettering and graphics. Vacuum and clean entire sanded floor. Supply 1 case Squeaky Cleaner for maintenance. Repair and/or replace broken maple boards with matching maple flooring, lacing the repair back into the existing court. Estimate of approximately 20 boards will need to be repaired. Stripped and painted with Bona Court matching system paints per graphics design. Two (2) coats of WATER-based finish will then be applied to the entire court surface. Sealed with two coats Bona Sport penetrating water-based sealer. Apply 2 coats of Gym Shoe gloss Wood Floor Finish.
