All work shall include but is not limited to Install two (2) new VAV boxes to the new lobby Method of Procurement will be a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is a "competitive" requirement Set Aside 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB). Project is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) only. All offerors must be certified in CVE at the time quotes are submitted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 MAGNITUDE of the Construction Project: $25,000.00 to 100,000.00 A Site Visit will be held Wednesday June 1, 2022 @ 10:00AM CDT. All Interested Contractors shall meet at the Doris Miller VACM 4800 Memorial Drive, Building 8 parking lot at the side entrance, Waco, Texas 76711. All Contractors attending the Pre-Bid Site Visit must go through COVID Screening to enter the facility. Please ensure early arrival to the facility to allow enough time to go through screening. Face Masks and picture IDs are required. Cut off for submission of RFI(s) is June 3, 2022 @ 1:00PM. All RFI(s)/questions must be submitted in Word Format and emailed to the following email address: eileen.myers@va.gov. Please include the solicitation No. 36C257222Q0582 on the subject line. SUBMISSION OF BIDS: All Offerors shall be submitted via email to the following email address: Eileen.Myers@va.gov by the date and time as stated in Block 13a below. Scope of Work: Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) has requested the installation of a new HVAC and controls system in the lobby area of building 8 Doris Miller VAMC Waco, Texas. Vendor shall: Install (2) new VAV boxes to the new lobby area, Install new room sensors for each VAV box, Install (2) new discharge air sensors in each VAV box, Run all new plumbing to each VAV box both hot water supply & hot water return, Install all duct work, grills, takeoff with dampers, insulate all copper lines, run all communication cable for controls, seal all duct work, run new duct work for restrooms, install exhaust fan system in each restroom, Program all controls, Test and balance entire new system and provide a test certificate to establish system is operational. Provide all operation manuals and MSDS upon completion. 3. Background: Central Texas Veterans Health Care System has requested the installation of a new HVAC system in building 8 lobby area, Doris Miller VAMC, Waco, Texas. 4. Performance Period: 90 days from the award of contract. B. CONTRACT AWARD MEETING The contractor shall not commence performance on the tasks in this SOW until the CO has conducted a kick off meeting, or has advised the contractor that a kick off meeting is waived. C. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Contractor will provide all necessary tools, equipment, materials, and supervision to complete project. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
