Building 6 Chill Water Pump Replacement Scope of work: Take initial water flow readings on existing pumps Pour new 4" concrete pads to accommodate new pumps Install (2) new B&G Series E-1531 2BD closed coupled end suction centrifugal pumps on new pad Provide and install new piping as needed to accommodate new pump's configuration Install (2) new butterfly valves in suction side of the pump piping Install (2) new B&G suction diffusers and connect to new pumps Install (2) new Triple Duty Valves in discharge side of the pump piping Disconnect high voltage electrical from existing pumps (This work to be performed during weekend hours) Disconnect piping, remove existing gate valves, triple duty valves, pumps and properly discard Reconnect piping from new pumps to build chill water loop Reconnect electrical from existing disconnects to new pumps Reinsulate new valves and piping with 1 1/2 " fiberglass and insulate pumps with Armaflex Proved and install new electrical disconnects on wall and connect high voltage new to pumps Start pumps and test for proper operation Test and balance new pumps to initial water flow readings One year parts and labor included
