The City of Altus, herein after called the City, is seeking bids to furnish and install HVAC equipment as needed to replace 60 existing HVAC units in six commercial buildings within the City of Altus. The project includes replacing 56 existing HVAC units and two new ductless units as described in the following buildings. Hangar 36, 5333 N. Main St, Altus, OK Replace 8 furnaces/condensers, 19 gas heaters and 1 PTAC unit and new install of two ductless PTAC or mini splits units Lincoln Center, 900 S. Carver Rd, Altus, OK Replace 4 furnaces/condensers Wilson School, 900 N. Willard St, Altus, OK Replace 15 roof-top package units Operation Care, 221 W. Walnut St, Altus, OK Replace 2 furnaces/condensers and 3 package units Enterprise Building, 2208 Enterprise Dr, Altus, OK Replace 4 furnaces/condensers. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to study all bids for thirty (30) days prior to bid award. The City reserves the right to award this bid in whole or in part as deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours before the time set for opening of bids, or any bid received after the time set for the opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened. The City does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or handicap status, in; employment decisions, the procurement of services, the selection of suppliers or awarding of bids and/or contracts. Award shall be based on a determination of the lowest qualified bid. Qualified is a determination by the City regarding the capability of the bidder to perform the work in good faith, with integrity and reliability as well as the materiality of the bidders errors, omissions, or exceptions (if any).
