Renovation of a mixed-use development in Laughlin AFB, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; and communication facility.
SEE SCHEDULE NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFEROR(S): 1. Fill in and complete blocks 14 through 20c in Section A. 2. Complete Section B - Supplies or Services and Prices. 3. Complete Section K - Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Offerors and return it with an offer. 4. See clause 52.204-8 in Section K for submission of annual representations and certifications. 5. See Section L - Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Bidders for details. 6. See clause 52.211-10 in Section I for information applicable to the 90 calendar days in Block 11. 7. IAW FAR clause 52.236-14 in Section I, utilities for the contractor may be available for use. For water, Contractors usually hook up to fire hydrants. The Contractor must provide an approved back flow preventer if using a fire hydrant. At the laydown yard power is usually available. The Contractor is responsible for getting into contact with RGEC for power hookups at the laydown yard, at Contractor's expense. 8. See clause 52.236-27 in Section L for the scheduled site visit information and important information about submitting an Entry Authority List. 9. Small Business Size Standard: NAICS: 237310 Dollars: $39.5 Million. 10. Sections K, L, and M will be physically removed upon resultant award and incorporated into the contract by reference. 11. Certified Bid Bonds with corporate seal are required in office at the time the proposal is due. 12. Notice to offerors, this requirement is a small business set-aside. Only small businesses will be considered. 13. Please review all contract attachments The disclosure of magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Install a new structurally supported 70 foot communications tower in accordance with manufacturing specifications to include lighting protection and maintenance accessibility. The communications tower shall have an obstruction light with supplied power cable with 5 underground conduits to run antenna cables and the obstruction light power cable from the tower. The Contractor shall ensure the communications tower is constructed in compliance with the standards set by the manufacturer and UFC 3-260-01.
