The project is located at five well sites: Well 8 is located at 842 Lunar Court, Well 9 is located on the northwest corner of Southwest Boulevard & Seed Farm Drive, Well 10 is located at the convergence of Hinebaugh Creek and Five Creeks, Well 18 is located before Hole 18 at the Foxtail Golf Course, and Well 29 is located at the southwest corner of Eleanor Avenue and Snyder Lane. The work is described generally as replacing the pump and motor at the referenced well sites. Please see Attachment A for more detailed information. The Contractor must have a valid California contractor's license, a Class C-57 Well Drilling Contractor license. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $156,000.00. The Contractor must begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after official notice by the Project Manager to proceed with the work and must diligently prosecute the same to completion within 40 calendar days of that Notice. Per California Civil Code Section 3247, a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding $25,000. A labor and materials bond in the amount of 100% of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder. A bid bond is required. The bond(s) must be provided within fifteen (15) calendar days from notice of award and prior to the performance of any work. The City of Rohnert Park makes no representation or warranty of the condition of the jobsite. All prospective bidders are requested to carefully review the project scope and to examine and conduct tests or otherwise satisfy themselves as to the conditions at the project site, subject to coordination with the office of the Rohnert Park City Engineer.
